Purple turquoise is created from natural Kingman turquoise stone from Arizona in which most of the aqua color is missing when mined. A purple color enhancement is added during the required stabilization of the stone. In addition, a bronze fusion process adds attractive veins of shiny bronze. This enhancing process provides interest to turquoise stone without natural aesthetic qualities and is still considered genuine stabilized turquoise by industry standards. Due to the natural abstract variations in the stone, the vein pattern and color tone will vary slightly.
